Matty was closely inspecting Robbo’s Tomato plants for green fly when he suddenly lost his footing !
Late into the evening or should I say early morning Matty was found embeded in Robbo’s young Tomato plants, he said and I quote “I was just checking for green fly when the floor suddenly moved under me and I seemed to topple over”. Having checked the Met office no sudden disturbance was recorded, so we must conclude it was something to do with the numerous pints of Carling that Matty had consumed that evening, topped up by Rita and Robbo’s whisky cabinet !!
Robbo quoted, “one minute he was swaying the next minute he had my best cherry reds as ear-rings, I had to ask him to leave but didn’t know whether to give him a slap or break out the mayonaise !”
